Tinice Williams is a remarkable individual who dedicates her time and expertise to preserving and promoting the cultural traditions of New Orleans. As the Executive Director of Feed the Second (FTSL). Tinice plays a vital role in supporting and uplifting the city's cultural bearers, particularly the Mardi Gras Indian tribes. Tinice's commitment to this cause stems from her deep appreciation for the unique traditions, artistry, and contributions of the culture bearers, which are integral to the identity of New Orleans.

One of Tinice's main objectives is to raise awareness about the culture bearers and their invaluable contributions to the community. Through various initiatives and programs organized by FTSL, she orchestrates events, performances, and exhibitions that showcase the talents of these individuals while educating the public about the cultural significance of their practices. By giving them a platform to express themselves, Tinice ensures that their voices are heard and their stories are shared with a wider audience.

Tinice is also recognized for her advocacy and support for the culture bearers of New Orleans in other capacities. For instance, she actively participates in the Black History Committee at her son's school. In 2020 alongside her son Big Chief Terrance, she spearheaded an all-youth BLM against all forms of violence in her community. By collaborating with educators and community leaders, she helps develop educational programs and events that provide inclusive and accurate education about New Orleans culture. Tinice's involvement ensures that the school community has access to comprehensive and culturally sensitive learning experiences.

Tinice places a strong emphasis on youth development and education. She led an after-school reading program where she facilitates engaging reading sessions for children. Through this program, Tinice fosters a love for literacy and provides a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. By actively engaging with the parents of the participating children, Tinice forges strong community connections and promotes a holistic approach to education.

Tinice's commitment to community service is evident through her volunteering efforts. By dedicating her time and resources to support vulnerable populations, Tinice demonstrates compassion and a drive to address immediate needs within the community.

She brings a wealth of experience and expertise to community involvement through their background as a former educator at FirstLine Schools. As an educator, Tinice also played a crucial role in shaping the lives of young students and contributing to the academic and personal development of the school community.
