Dr. Robert B. Robinson, a native of New Orleans, is a lifelong educator. He is a product of Orleans Parish Schools. Dr. Robinson graduated from Lusher Charter School with a diploma and theater endorsement in 2010.

Robert attended Spring Hill College located in Mobile, Alabama, graduating in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education and English. Following his graduation, he returned to his hometown to begin teaching with Orleans Parish Schools. During his four years with Orleans Parish Schools, Robert serviced hundreds of high school students and proved his merit as a highly effective teacher. At the end of his time teaching high school, Robert’s students earned some of the highest scores on the LEAP 2025 English I End-of-Course exam within his building and within the district.

In 2018, Robert left Orleans Parish Schools and joined the founding staff at Benjamin Franklin Elementary Mathematics & Science School (affectionately known as Baby Ben). While working at Baby Ben, Robert completed his master’s level coursework in education leadership at the University of New Orleans in 2019. It was at Baby Ben where Robert was first afforded the opportunity to grow as a leader. He has served in many roles at the school outside of the classroom, including TAP mentor teacher, school-community relations intern, administrative fellow, and most recently operations specialist.

In the summer of 2020, Robert was formally admitted to the doctorate in

executive leadership program at the University of Holy Cross. He successfully completed the requirements for the Doctor of Education degree in August 2022.
