Nicole Gonzales
System Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Nicole Gonzales currently serves as System Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Ochsner Medical Center – New Orleans in which she oversees clinic operations and the Ochsner Hospital for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Prior to that she served as the Chief Operating Officer at Ochsner Health – West St. Tammany. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Nicole received her BS degree from Louisiana State University and her MBA from Northeast Louisiana University. She began her career at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge and later transition to Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. In 1999, Nicole joined Ochsner Health where she has held various positions over the past 23 years both on the Northshore and at OMC – New Orleans.
Nicole is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and a graduate of GE’s Health Management Academy Fellowship. She is a member of the Junior League of Greater Covington and serves as a Board Member for the Children’s Museum of St. Tammany (CMST). She is a past board member for Leadership St. Tammany and ACCESS.
Nicole and her husband Ray moved to the North Shore in 2000. They currently reside in Madisonville with their 2 children.
