A nationally award-winning writer and editor, Kim Singletary has served as the managing editor of Biz New Orleans Magazine, the only monthly business magazine in Louisiana, since its inception in Oct. 2014. During that time, the publication has won multiple state and national awards of excellence every year for reporting on the most pressing issues affecting the business community and profiling the people behind the industries driving the region. In addition to running the magazine, Kim also cohosts a weekly podcast called BizTalks where she interviews various local leaders on a wide variety of topics. Outside of Biz New Orleans, Kim has been a frequent contributor to The New Orleans Advocate/Times Picayune for over 9 years. She is a graduate with honors from California State University Long Beach with a bachelor’s in journalism and a minor in women’s studies.
