Khari Parrish joined Community Sailing New Orleans in the spring of 2022 as their Operations Director. Graduating from Hampton University, Mr. Parrish studied Marine Biology & Environmental Science while competing on the Hampton University Sailing Team. Using his background, Mr. Parrish aims to pair environmental concepts with physical activity to better engage and interest students about the natural world around them. With over a decade of experience as a recreational and competitive sailor as well as sailing instructor, Mr. Parrish strives to introduce sailing and its opportunities to those communities that traditionally have not been exposed to sailing.
