I discovered my passion for community service during my senior year at LSU in 2014 when I served as the volunteer recruitment director for Geaux Big Baton Rouge. This event is a large-scale community service day that 1,000 LSU staff & students participated in. Since that time, I have volunteered with many organizations, served in leadership roles, and completed leadership training.

I currently serve on three boards in my community:

I serve as the president of the Uptown Triangle Neighborhood Association and in this role, I am responsible for leading a board meeting every other month and hosting a neighborhood annual meeting. I plan neighborhood service days, socials, and serve as a liaison between my neighbors and city officials.

In 2021 I served as the Vice President of Membership for Young Leadership Council. My committee and I are where responsible for recruiting and maintaining members, organizing networking happy hours and planning leadership events. I continue to serve on YLC's general board and served as volunteer captain for the 2022 Wednesday at the Square concert series.  As chair of the mentorship committee, I am currently developing a YLC mentorship program which will support the personal & professional growth of New Orleans young professionals.

I end my term as the president of the Rotary Club of Mid-City New Orleans on June 30, 2022. In this role I led three meetings per month, oversaw several committee chais, and planned the programming for the year. I helped to start an Interact service club at Morris Jeff Community School and planned their fundraising event. In addition to serving as president, I served as membership chair for the club and our club gained fifteen members. Our club's signature project is funding survivor packs and raising money for the New Orleans Family Justice Center. I chaired the planning committee for our largest fundraiser for this project which is a bicycle bar crawl in Mid City. Our club raised more money in 2021 then had ever been raised in the previous 6 years at this event.

I would like to continue to enhance my leadership skills and knowledge in order to better serve the city that I am proud to call home.
