Westerfield Fellow

Brent Godfrey is the incoming Westerfield Fellow at Loyola Law School, where he will teach courses on basic lawyering. Brent was previously a firefighter with the New Orleans Fire Department and an intelligence officer in the US Navy. He also founded Crescent City Corps, a non-profit that delivers leadership development to first responders focused on anti-racism and community engagement. Earlier in his career, Brent was the Director of IDEAcorps at The Idea Village. He is also an instructor for the National Outdoor Leadership Schools. Brent has BA in History and a Juris Doctor from Yale.
