Aaliyah Shareef

Senior Strategic Designer

Aaliyah Shareef is a creative with an affinity for innovative design, brand/user experience and "big ideas." With more than 15 years of experience she enjoys working on projects with social and ethical motivations where I can use my research, concepting and testing skills to its fullest. Based in New Orleans, Aaliyah currently works as Senior Strategic Designer for KeyString Labs, the innovation arm of the Entergy Corporation.

As a visionary and graduate of University of Southern Mississippi, Aaliyah is a customer centric research whose sole goal is to help to provide sustainable economic opportunities to our communities. With a goal of reversing fossil fuel usage and empower a renewable and green future, she has developed an effective balance between creative vision, analytical aptitude, and project implementation in environmental health.

As owner and operator of Nobles Estates, Aaliyah’s other passion are the actual building of the communities. She works with local New Orleans women to prepare them for homeownership by serving as a liaison to vetted contractors, 1st time homeowner programs and simple advice for their advancement. In previous years, Aaliyah served as Area Marketing Manager for Hyatt Hotels New Orleans. In her role, she managed program logistics and executed regional marketing campaigns to build business and was nominated for the Hyatt Corporation Marketer of the Year. She has a proven track record of obtaining business results through effective external relationships and strong project management skills.

Currently, Aaliyah looks to dedicate her life to becoming an active community leader and volunteer. Born and raised in Denver, Colorado she has a knack for the outdoors.
